I think anyone who has been on an Adventure By Disney vacation can agree that it is hard to pick one thing that is the most memorable. However, for
us it wasn't just the things we did but the people we got to do them with. Our adventure guides (Christina and Adrianna) were amazing, they made the whole trip memorable. It felt like we were hanging out with great friends who just happened to be local (and were able to get us into amazing places). On our trip to Southern California, there were things that we could have done on our own, but it would not have been nearly as magical, memorable, or fun. Not only were they our friends, but they also were professional and wanted to make sure every detail was perfect. If there was anything out of place (like our bathroom light in one hotel), they got it resolved quickly. They truly cared about us and our trip (and not making us feel like we were imposing on them). The guides to me are the biggest reason to go with Adventures By Disney, because they are carefully picked. They are all friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. I can't imagine a single aspect of our trip without our guides and, for that reason, will always go with Adventuring with Disney when possible.

For our 35th Anniversary, we decided to celebrate our 35 happy years together at the Happiest Place on Earth and could think of no better way
to do that than the Adventures by Disney Southern California Adventure! While our anniversary adventure, our daughter, Brigid, who had recently graduated from my wifes alma mater, St. Louis College of Pharmacy, was anxiously awaiting her Pharmacy board exam results. After she called to give us the exciting news that shed passed, we mentioned it to our Adventures by Disney guide, Matt A., who added his congratulations. Little did we know he also made some secret arrangements. When we went to get our picture with the head cheese himself, Mickey surprised us by pulling out a banner say Congratulations, Brigid! That made out day and we posted the photo on Facebook right away so it made our daughters day as well! I mean, how often do you get a special personal message from Mickey Mouse himself? The thoughtfulness of Matt and the other very special touches he and Alyssa E., our other ABD guide, made it such a special and memorable anniversary trip!

I went on the old Backstage Magic your in 2011. I was on my own without my family - traveling solo. This trip was a dream come true. Visiting Henson
studios, Imagineering, Disney Studios. Also being able to go back stage at both Disneyland and California Adventure was amazing. I made a lot of friends on this trip that I still keep in touch with and often travel with to this day. I also made a special connection with one of my guides, Christian C. Even though I was traveling alone be always made sure I felt connected with the group and everything going on. We have stayed in touch and have been able to visit when I have made it back to Disneyland with my husband and daughter. To this day I count some of those fellow ABD travelers and, one special ABD guide, as close friends.

Instead of three words, I have just three letters for you V.I.P. From getting off the airplane, and not ever needing to touch our luggage again until our
arrival back home to private backstage tours we have never felt more important! So, only go on this tour if you want to be treated like the rich and famous. Going to the front of the lines at Disneyland, walking through doors that clearly state Employees Only, wearing badges to gain access to Walt Disney's apartment, walking into an office where we held an Oscar trophy that he had won, and even strolling into workshops to take a peek at what the magical illustrators are working on next! Wait, I am not done... gates opened to allow us access to Jim Henson studios, every parade and show had a VIP section with seats waiting just for me, oh, I mean our group, and I cant imagine one Disney character that we missed meeting! Once back home, as I sat having a cup of tea, I was thinking about our trip and realized that is how royalty must travel, and then I smiled thinking I was able to live like that for a week. Thanks AbD!

My favorite Disney loving cousin and I had the good fortune to experience the Disneyland/Southern California Aventures by Disney trip one October
a few years ago. We started out traveling with a group of strangers who turned out to be friends who we are still in touch with today! We even pop in and visit our guide, Michael, who truly made the trip magical for us, whenever we are in Southern California. Sharing unique Disney experinences with fellow Disney-philes made each and every part of the adventure that much more memorable. Of those experiences, the one closest to my heart was visiting Walt's Apartment. I had been gazing at the warm glow of the lamp in the window each time I exited my home away from home since I was a little girl. I shed a few happy tears as we ascended the stairs and saw Mr. Disney's grilled cheese maker and sat in his chair for a photo. I truly felt his spirit there in that quiet oasis upstairs from Main Street and steps from Adventureland. It was truly a Disney Dream come true.

My Adventure was actually my honeymoon! My husband and I joined two EXTRAORDINARY guides (Adrianna & Christina) through Southern
California on the Backstage Magic tour where our group of 15 adults became kids again in every sense of the word. We had picture & video contests, came up with MOUNTAINS of inside jokes, and even some pranks! Our culminating memory was when our entire tour group met up for breakfast and surprised our guides with our own homemade ABD Paddles of Power. (Picture attached). Adrianna & Christina ensured such a friendly, professional, and above all else- MAGICAL time was had by all of us. Touring such amazing places like the Walt Disney Studios, Jim Henson's Workshop, Disney Imagineering, Walt's apartment, and being able to RUN DOWN MAIN STREET(!!!) before Disneyland officially opened to the public are memories my husband and I will cherish for a lifetime. Our international adults-only group became fast friends and we all keep in touch via a private Facebook group forever joined by our magical adventure together. Months later, my husband and I find ourselves smiling and laughing as we look at pictures, or if we see something on TV , that reminds us of the incredible week we had with our new friends. I wish I could attach more than one picture because it's hard not to smile when you look upon our group having a blast together. My husband and I would happily Adventure Together with ABD again and again. :-)

The Disneyland and Hollywood experience is magical through and through. From visiting Imagineering to all of the backstage access at Disneyland
and enjoying an evening on the Jimmy Kimmel show. Touring Walt's apartment, the Dream Suite and special train car at Disneyland were treats that we could not enjoy any other way! Our most special memory though was touring Disneyland before the park opened and taking pictures in front of the castle with no one else around! The adventure guides made everyday special! We took the trip without the kids as 10 year anniversary celebration and can't wait to do it again with our kids in tow.

My wife and I chose the Adventures by Disney Southern California tour as part of our Honeymoon. We made so many lifelong memories throughout
our trip that it feels impossible to pick just one. We had exclusive access and surprises galore, but one moment stands out from the rest. On a cool California morning, our group got the ultimate Disney magic moment, when we walked down Main Street USA, all by ourselves. That moment, seeing the fog dance down Main Street, as Sleeping Beautys iconic castle came into view, is one we will never forget. The true Disney touch though, was when our Adventure Guides, who were nothing short of amazing for our entire trip, offered to take our picture in front of the castle. Every time we look at the picture we get to relieve that magical feeling and know that it was all thanks to you, Adventures by Disney!

There are so many experiences and memories from every Adventures by Disney vacation, it is hard to choose just one. After a lot of family
discussion, we chose a memory from our first Adventure which we still refer to today. We will always remember being inside Disneyland before the park opened. The peace and beauty of the park are magnified when all is quiet and you can truly appreciate everything around you. We will forever treasure our pictures from that adventure and remember when we had Disneyland all to ourselves.

What stands out to me most about our adventure was my daughter's pure joy at all the behind the scenes aspects of our adventure. She is special needs
and the guides made sure she felt included in all of the activities, especially when the kids were going on a separate kids activity. Her squeals of delight riding Walt's train at the barn, her expression of awe seing the Dream Suite, her inquisitiveness at Disney Imagineering, and her total joy being in Walt's apartment are treasured memories. The experiences we had, and the guides attention to detail, helped her feel special, that she was getting to do and see things that not everyone could do or see. That trip, more than any other we have taken, lifted her spirits and helped her take part and be part of a group, forget her extra challenges, and feel completely accepted. I'd say the one word that sums up the experience best: Magical!

During our 2013 Backstage Magic trip to Southern California we got to tour the Jim Henson Company! Because these studios are not usually open to
the public, it was so amazing to be in there and visit the home of the Muppets. We even had the opportunity to operate one of the Muppets and see how their shows are made. We have great memories of our tour of these historic facilities built by Charlie Chaplin to make his silent movies. At this site, the past is as amazing as the present. We can't believe we were really there! These are memories only Adventures By Disney could provide!

During our 2013 Backstage Magic trip it was awesome to be able to enter Disneyland before the park opened to have pictures taken, but it was even
more awesome to then be taken to Club 33 for breakfast. Our Adventures By Disney group had the whole place to ourselves and were able to enjoy an unforgettable breakfast with impeccable service at this exclusive restaurant. We got the full tour of the place inside and out, including the terraces and balconies. We will always have great memories of our Club 33 breakfast! We felt so special!

I will never forget when our guides told us to go enjoy some rides in the California Disneyland park, but to make sure we were back about 30
minutes before the parade started, and that we were meeting in the hub to view the parade. It seemed like an insane plan because the hub has got to be the most crowded place on the planet for a Disney parade, but that's what they told us. We enjoyed some rides and then headed back toward the hub as we were instructed, just 30 minutes before the start. I will NEVER forget what happened. As we approached the hub, there were our Disney guides standing at benches that had been moved to the hub and reserved for our ABD group. The benches were in the circle. Talked about VIP service! So, we just walked over and casually sat down as thousands, three deep were standing and waiting. The seats were dream seats. We got really great pictures from our front row seats. What an amazing experience. None of us will ever forget this.

My greatest memory is my son's expression when seeing all of Walt Disney's behind the scene magic at Disneyland. My son had always expressed
interest in the production of Disney and seeing it first hand was such a honor. Just being able to share this with him was so special and the way Adventures by Disney carries out all the little extra touches made this a unforgettable vacation for the both of us.

I grew up on Jim Henson. My Mom would tease me that I would never sit down and stop playing with my toys for anything but Sesame Street, and
she even got a counting and alphabet practice game for the original Nintendo that was Sesame Street themed which I played constantly. When we found out that we were going to get to visit the Jim Henson studios as part of the Adventures by Disney itinerary I was on cloud nine. Walking past the gates onto the lot felt like a dream come true, and when we got to actually see how some of the puppetry is preformed, I just couldn't believe what I was seeing. When asked for a volunteer to help, I have never put my hand up quicker in my life! I was so thrilled to get the chance to actually manipulate the puppet along with a professional, and I feel as though the look on my face in this picture tells that story. Disney vacations are magical and make your childhood dreams come to life! Thank you, Adventures by Disney for this once in a lifetime opportunity.

Timing truly is everything! The L.A. portion of our Adventures by Disney 'Backstage Magic' trip had already been an amazing, once-in-a-lifetime
experience... After fascinating tours of Imagineering, the Jim Henson Company and Walt Disney Studios, our time in Los Angeles culminated in a completely unplanned, but truly iconic event: Marvel Studio's Guardians of the Galaxy World Premiere. As huge Disney and Marvel fans, having the chance to experience a red carpet premiere up-close was simply incredible; we will never forget the glitz, glamour and amazing energy of that premiere! --- Best... Vacation... Ever!

My honeymoon adventure to Southern California began in Hollywood where our group enjoyed a spectacular trip to Jim Henson Studios. That was
incredible. Afterwards though, our playful guides, Adrianna and Christina, presented us with our own make-shift Muppet eyes and challenged us. That challenge? Use our puppets in a fun way and text a picture or video to them before the end of the night and the most creative idea would win a fun prize. Needless to say, CHALLENGE ACCEPTED. My husband and I busted out as much creativity as we could to create our little movie which won first prize in our guides contest! That was great; however, even greater was each couple on our tour spent the next day chatting with each other and sharing our creations which allowed us to get to know each other in a nice and fun way! It was a fun and creative way for our guides to get our adults-only group to not only play but also use it as an ice-breaker so our fellow adventurers could loosen up and make friends. PS- My little puppet (Fingers McBigEyes) has joined my third grade class and makes regular appearances to liven up dull lessons! The magic continues even after the Adventure ends!
