Upon arrival at Phoenix Airport (PHX) proceed to the baggage claim area. Once inside the baggage claim area, look for a representative holding an orange Adventures by Disney sign. This representative is available to assist you with your luggage and direct you to the group meeting point, which is the Starbucks next to baggage claim in Terminal 4 (the south curb side between doors 4 & 6). We are providing only ONE group transfer from Phoenix to Sedona, departing Terminal 4 once all Guests have arrived.

Please Note: If you are arriving to the airport by rental car or taxi, we request that you join the Adventures by Disney Guides at the Starbucks in Terminal 4 (the south curb side between doors 4 & 6) no later than 12:00 PM MST. Since we are providing this 1 group transfer based on the final group arrival time, early arrivers may spend some time at the airport. Grab lunch at one of the many fine dining or quick serve restaurants in Terminal 4 as this will be your last chance to eat a meal before dinner later this evening. Adventure Guides will have light snacks and bottled water aboard the coach. At the conclusion of your adventure, we are providing 1 group transfer to the Walker Field Airport in Grand Junction, Colorado for your return flight home.

During our departure dates, Utah and Colorado are 1 hour ahead of Phoenix, Arizona because most of Arizona does not observe daylight savings time. During the spring and summer months when daylight savings time is generally observed, Utah and Colorado—including Junction, Colorado—operate under Mountain Daylight Time (MDT) whereas Phoenix, Arizona continues to operate under Mountain Time (MST).

      Day Airport Code Arrival/Departure Time
Arrival 1 PHX No later than 12:00 PM MST

While this adventure is not considered physically strenuous, most days will include one or more hours of walking and Guests should feel comfortable spending time exploring the outdoors. While in Moab, the itinerary includes a gentle (Classes I-II) river rafting activity. The hike in Arches National Park consists of a steady uphill ascent with an approximate 500' elevation gain (and loss on the descent) on a surface of smooth stone, dirt and gravel. As an alternative to the hike, a motor coach excursion in Arches National Park is available. Temperatures may be hot and, at times, under exposed terrain, so wear cool clothing and a hat, and drink plenty of water. While nearly all of the trip's featured activities are gentle if examined separately, the full range of activities requires a moderate amount of stamina in order to get the most of your vacation.

While we welcome children ages 5 and up at the time of travel to discover the stories of the world with us, we recommend that children be at least 6 years old at the time of travel on our Arizona and Utah trip. This is based on several factors, such as high altitude at destination, duration of the vacation, extended hours of daily activity programming, potential for extreme temperatures in the summer months and amount of physical activity (e.g. hiking, rafting, off-road tours) involved. Because each child is different, call a Vacationista at (800) 543-0865 to discuss whether this is the right trip for your kids.

Typically, breakfast is served each morning in family style and offers a variety of dishes. Dinners and lunches usually include fish, meat, and pasta or rice entrées; vegetables and salad; and desserts and fruit. Some included meals on this trip are served family style while others offer a limited-choice menu. Given the nature of group travel, we regret that á la carte menu choices may not always be available. Child-friendly choices are available at all meals. Menu items are subject to change due to the availability and seasonality of foods. In order to allow you and your family time to enjoy meals by yourselves, there are meals that are not included in the itinerary. These meals have been planned in locations where you have many dining options available. If you have any questions or concerns about dining at any time during your vacation, your Adventure Guides will be happy to assist you.
