A Food Tour Along Alberta’s Cowboy Trail

Adventure along the famous Cowboy Trail and learn about the maverick culture of this massive Canadian province located south of Calgary. You’ll visit Canada’s only National Historic Site dedicated to ranching history of the frontier period that began in 1882, where you’ll explore the original building and hands-on artifacts of one of Canada’s largest ranches. During your visit, you’ll be mesmerized by dedicated storytellers and a First Nations Elder brought in especially for Adventures by Disney Guests. Plus, you’ll also meet some of Alberta’s premier food artisans producing and using Alberta’s signature foods—beef, bison, canola, honey, Red Fife wheat and root vegetables.



Bar U Ranch National Historic Site

Learn all about the history of this National Historic Site and take part in a smudging ceremony with a Stoney Nakoda First Nations Elder.



Eau Claire Distillery and Charleston Line Dancing Lesson

Knock 3 times to experience an old-time, secret speakeasy and discover how Turner Valley became the center of activity during the Prohibition Era. After the presentation, kick up your heels and learn the Charleston! Adult Adventurers will be able to sample one of the distillery’s signature cocktails. A non-alcoholic version will be made available to Junior Adventurers.



Chinook Honey Tasting & Tour

Learn about—and taste—mead, or honey wine, as you tour the glass-enclosed observation hive. Junior Adventurers get the opportunity to “bee” educated with a first-hand look at the inner workings of a honeybee colony.
