We visited the ice caves in Austria and had a truly Disney moment. Halfway through our wondrous visit, our adventure guide took out an mP3 player
that had a small speaker attached and played Let It Go. And even though I'm a 36-year-old mother of two, for a few moments as I sang along with the song I felt like a Disney princess. I got to experience what Elsa probably felt like when she created her ice castle in the song. The trip came full circle for me in that moment -- the fact that Disney created the entire experience and itinerary and also took care of these kinds of moments so that we'll have memories to share for a lifetime. I got to go back to my childhood while sharing this experience with a child of my own. My daughter and I both sang and lived a Disney moment, and I got to live it from the heart out. After we came out of the ice cave, we had the most breathtaking view (the picture I'm sending with this entry.) This reminded me of the end of Frozen, when Elsa and Anna work together to restore balance and their relationship to Arendelle. The ice cave visit will always remain a special time from our trip for me. Thank you, Disney!

Jennae has been our guide on 3 Adventures. We told her a story of running through the airport to catch a flight where we didn't have time to stop and
buy the candy our son loves. At the time, the candy was only available in international airports. A year later, when we arrived in Prague, we were greeted by Jennae with several large bags of his favorite candy. Only an ABD guide would go out of their way for a guest like that. We love Jennae & we love Adventures by Disney

Another thing that makes an ABD so special is the access that Disney has in various locations.  As fans of the Sound of Music
(we used to listen to the soundtrack over and over in the car when our kids were younger), it was so amazing to get to have a family photo taken in the gazebo used in the film.  There were definite looks of envy from other tourists to Hellbrunn Palace that day.  Not everyone can wrangle the key to the gazebo.  Thanks, ABD!

Who would have thought that a visit from The Tooth Fairy would be one of the most memorable moments of our Central Europe Adventure? My son
and I were traveling together in June and while at breakfast on the fifth day, Trevor lost a tooth. We didnt mention the tooth to anyone in the group, other than the couple that shared a breakfast table with us. Trevor wrapped his tooth in a napkin, put it in our backpack, and we headed out for a very long day. We started the day with an early morning visit to The Eagles Nest in Berchtesgaden, followed by a tour at Hellbrunn Castle, The Sound of Music tour, and a delightful dinner at St. Peters Restaurant in Salzburg. Trevor and I did not have much time to talk or think about the tooth because the day was so busy. On the bus ride back to the hotel, I began to wonder if the Tooth Fairy visits children in Germany and what she leaves behind hoping that a few Euro would satisfy Trevor. When we finally arrived back in our hotel room, after a very long day of adventuring, I found out that the Tooth Fairy does indeed visit Germany. She had braved the Bavarian Alps that day to leave some trinkets for Trevor including a pin from The Eagles Nest, an ornament from Salzburg, and a note written in both German and English. She even left a very special Adventures by Disney Celebration pin. I have always been a believer in the Magic of Disney, but this gesture touched me unlike any other Disney Magic I have experienced anywhere in the world.

We had so many amazing experiences on our Storybook Adventure tour this summer! My younger daughter got to watch as a butterfly landed on her
arm and stayed put, content to rest there as we walked down from the ice caves in the Bavarian Alps. We discovered the charm of the beautiful town of Cesky-Krumlov. We fell in love with Vienna's combination of modernity and adherence to its historical past. My older daughter learned how to communicate with people from different countries and different families. I found a small piece of my heart in Berchtesgaden, Germany. More than anything, however, our entire family thoroughly enjoyed getting to know our Adventure Guides. Stephanie Schulz and Dean Baladdad are amazing people, so knowledgeable, fun, and patient, and we hope to travel with them again one day. Thank you for providing us, truly, with the adventure of a lifetime!

From the very first adventures by Disney (the first year it started) we have met the most amazing families and adventure guides who feel like they are part
of our family throughout our 10 years traveling with Disney. I can't pick one memory but one from each trip would be easier. From the first trip in Yellowstone where we have met which would become lifelong friends on the trail. Then in the southwest splendors when we first saw the grandeur of the Grand Canyon. In Costa Rica I got over my fears when j zip lined through the rainforest. Our Alaska discovery was completed when we were surprised by Ton Staggs on our adventure and he made our Farewell dinner complete. When we arrived in Ireland to be able to see 23 counties while standing at the hills of Tara. Our terrifying adventure while in Montana and Canada was the Rick and mudslide on the road to the sun will be something I will never forget after being trapped for 5 hours 3/4 of the way up the mountain Our Czech Republic Germany and Vienna trip was so exciting sliding down into the salt mines. This year we look forward to a trip to Russia where I'm sure we can add to our memories that we have already created. We love that our children still enjoy being with us on these trips and will never forget the memories we have created that truly will last us a lifetime.

The trip to the Ice Cave, Eisriesenwelt, in Warfen, Austria sticks out as the most memorable experience (out of many, many wonderful memories on
the trip). To climb up so high that we were above the clouds was magical! The cave exploration was an incredible adventure, the lunch at the Dr Odle-Haus after the cave exploration was in an unforgettable setting - sitting on the side of a mountain sharing an incredible lunch with our fellow adventurers and wonderful guides-Steph & Jennae! It is unforgettable!

During our Imperial Cities Tour, my husband and I decided that it would be perfect to attend a Mozart concert in Salzburg, the composers birthplace.
We mentioned that to our guide, who did some research for us and discovered that there would be an all-Mozart program during one of our evenings in the city. Other tour members overheard the conversation, word got around, and virtually everyone in our group ended up purchasing tickets. What a magical experience it turned out to be! The concert was held in the Golden Hall of the 11th century Salzburg Fortress. To reach the fortress, high above the city, we travelled straight up the side of the hill by funicular. From the top, there was a spectacular nighttime view of Salzburg and its lighted monuments. As for the concert itself, the music and intimate setting were magnificent. The highlight was an Alpine horn piece, its soloist dressed in traditional Austrian garb. Afterwards, we happened to share the ride back down the hill with the musicians, giving us an opportunity to chat with them and to praise their performance. What a delightful memory of our Adventures by Disney tour!

This was my and my husbands late hunny moon. He always wanted to show me Germany. This trip was magic for us, when I'm stressed I still 7 years
later listen to the music I listened to on this trip and close my eyes imagining that we are there. We have searched high and low for a German resturant that makes flammkuchen, a German pizza type dish. We have not found any to this day. We often talk about going back or if we would take another trip with Adventures by Disney as this one trip showed us this is the only way to see the world. We have been looking into going on a trip for our 10 year wedding anniversary which will be March of 2017, but we are unable to spend this kind of money. This would be a blessing for us!

Our first trip as a family overseas was an Adventures by Disney trip to Austria and the Czech Republic. We thoroughly enjoyed every part of the trip.
However, the kids had the most fun at the Hellbrun Palace in Salzburg, Austria. Both kids were intrigued by the trick fountains. We also enjoyed the salt mine, especially the slide. I can't say enough about the food. We were definitely never hungry, and the meals were simply amazing. The guides were engaging and great with the kids. However, they also were full of information for the adults as well. We look forward to taking another trip soon.
