Mini Boat Cruise and Tour of Isola Bella

Take a ferry from Stresa to Isola Bella and be met by a local guide. Tour the palace that Carlo III Borromeo had built in 1670 and view its magnificent paintings and ornately furnished rooms including a domed party room, a music room containing valuable antique instruments, and 6 grottoes with shell- and pebble-studded ceilings. Explore the surrounding, exquisite gardens that lie on 10 terraces—each with beautiful statues and themed to highlight a type of landscape design. The top terrace features a unicorn, which was the symbol of the Borromeo family.

Wine Tasting in Stresa

Return to Stresa, where your Adventure Guides will escort you to an exclusive wine tasting led by a sommelier at the family-owned La Cambusa Wine Shop—one of the finest wine and specialty food emporiums in the Piemonte area. Sip up to 4 different local wines paired with delicious accompaniments. Meanwhile, Junior Adventurers will enjoy grape juice and cookies.

On Your Own Lunch and Afternoon in Stresa

Stroll through Stresa and delight in some of its landmark sites including Villa Pallavicino with its gardens and zoo, and Stresa's parish church—the Church of Santi Ambrogio and Theodulo. Walk along the waterfront for a picturesque view of boats en route to the Borromean Islands. Check out the incredible Italian eateries to find a good spot for lunch or ask your Adventure Guides for recommendations. If you prefer to take advantage of the Regina Palace Hotel's amenities, return there for lunch or to relax, swim or play tennis.

Dinner at Monterosso Farm

Join your fellow Adventurers for an exclusive family-style dinner featuring fresh fruits and vegetables grown on the premises. Atop the Monterosso hill with a panoramic view of Lake Maggiore, Monte Rosa and Valgrande National Park, this organic farm is surrounded by lush pastures, orchards and beech woods.

Bocce Ball and Pony Rides for Junior Adventurers*

Junior Adventurers can enjoy a game of bocce ball and saddle up for a fun pony ride while adults sit back with a glass of wine.

*Pony rides are restricted to ages 12 and younger.
