My wife Debi and I went to London and Paris on The Cities of Knights and Lights adventure. This was just a few months after the fairy tale wedding of
Prince William and Catherine, so my wife got to enter Westminster Abbey through the same door Kate did and then later she was able to see the wedding close up in Buckingham Palace. Having traveled through Europe years ago as part of the U.S. military, I wanted to experience London and Paris the right way and more important, I yearned to treat my wife, who had never been out of the U.S. to thrill of London and Paris for our 5th wedding anniversary. Following London, our Disney hosts guided us to Paris where we got the photo I always dreamed of getting...Debi and I at the Eifel Tower. But the wonders of Paris didn't stop there! Our Disney hosts helped us make reservations, on my birthday, for a romantic dinner at Le Grand Colbert which was featured in one of our favorite movies (Something's Gotta Give. Oh yes, and about my birthday, in addition to the wonderful dinner, earlier that day, we toured the wonders of Versailles and at lunch I was presented with a special birthday dessert and our entire new Adventures By Disney family serenaded my with Happy Birthday To You. It was the best time of our lives and we can't wait to explore again with Adventures By Disney.

We've been lucky enough to do four ABD trips and have made amazing memories on each one. Truly, I could write a novel! We met a family on our first
ABD trip and their son came to our town for college. The family told us how much it meant that we were close by when they couldn't be. We saw a little girl that never spoke to us smile handing out the pins. We prayed for our ABD guide when we found out he was going to Iraq after our trip and celebrated when he came home. We were running through DL for the 1/2 and one of our past guides recognized us and hugged us and cheered us on. When the Pope unexpectedly came out our guides rushed back into the store to grab all of our purchases so they could receive the Pope's blessing when we did. But possibly my favorite memory is climbing Notre-Dame. We were headed up the tower and I was getting pretty winded. Plus, it's pretty tight in there. I started singing the Bells of Notre-Dame to sort of keep me moving. But I can't sing so I was being pretty quiet about it. Well, I guess Fransesc (sp) up ahead heard me and just started singing away. His beautiful voice just filled that tower and pulled me along. He was so good I didn't even notice the next million steps I took and how tight the walls were. I wish you could hear it. It's hard to explain the magic. It was like being in the movie with the song and then suddenly popping out on top of the tower and taking a deep breath. It turned a survival story into a magical story!

Our guides, both Emily and Jem, and our local guides in England and France, were outstanding. Since our group was made up of many families,
spanning ages from grandparents to young children, it was great to hear that our guides couldn't tell which children belonged to which families due to the great interaction we all had.

Not long after my husband died, I needed to be able to get away. My son and I love Disney and are annual passholders, so it seemed like a natural
idea to explore the Adventures by Disney offerings. We were not disappointed. We ventured last summer to England and France with two amazing Adventure Guides and were able to forget for a short while the stress of our lives. We enjoyed seeing for the first time many amazing sites, sounds, cuisines, and made new friends. We saw first hand many of those historical landmarks you see in movies, documentaries, and history books. To this day, we love seeing those sites and can exclaim that we have been there! Visiting Stonehenge was a treat, walking the halls of West Minster Abbey was breathtaking. Standing on the Eiffel Tower in Paris was mesmerizing. We will never forget the wonder, beauty, and love we felt as we were well taken care of and enjoyed every minute of our Adventure! Thank you Disney, from the bottom of our hearts!!

After viewing a performance of Lion King on London's West End, we had the opportunity to have a backstage tour. We experienced a really unique,
behind-the-scenes look at the making of a musical masterpiece. For a musical theater buff like myself, this was a dream come true. Seeing the costumes and props and hearing what it is like to perform on stage in a massive production like this was fascinating. These once in a lifetime experiences are what make you want to take Adventures by Disney everywhere they go!

Growing up as the daughter of an Emergency Room physician, proved to be difficult as my Dad wasn't able to be around as much as my family would
have liked. Although this wasn't ideal for him either, my Dad took pride in giving myself, my Mom, and my two sisters the life he felt we deserved. After deciding to travel overseas for the very first time, my Dad did some added research and realized Adventures by Disney was the trip for us, specifically the England and France trip. Although many of the sites and experiences are still vivid in my mind to this day, I will never forget biking through Versailles as a family. Something as simple as riding bikes together was difficult for my family and I to do when I was younger due to my Dad's schedule. Not only were we making up for lost time but we were surrounded by the beauty and grandeur of Versailles! There is a large gap between myself and my youngest sister (13 years) but I remember how exhilarating this experience was for every member of my family, no matter what age they happened to be. For example, while my little sister and I raced to the end, my Mom and Dad enjoyed a slow ride, taking in all that surrounded them. I am forever grateful to Adventures by Disney because they aided in bringing my family closer together, despite being thousands of miles away from home. This is the first trip we took with the company but because of what my family and I shared on this trip, we have already come back for two more!

Our first Adventure by Disney trip was to London and Paris. We booked the vacation when we were on a Disney Cruise. Amazing how a vacation makes
you want to take another vacation. This would my husband's and son's first time to Europe. On our first full day in Europe, we got on the double decker red bus and headed to Westminster Abbey and a wonderful tour. Typically after that you go watch the changing of the guard at Buckingham Palace. Luckily for us on that particular day it was the Trooping the Colour. Our guides had known this and planned a perfect spot for us to watch the parade back to the Buckingham palace. We saw the Queen of England go by and many of the Princes and Princesses. The picture that is uploaded, is of Princess Kate and Prince Harry. It was a great story to tell when we returned home that we got to see the Queen!

My father and I both have never really traveled outside of the US. When I graduated with my Masters in HR Management degree in 2013, my father
and I decided to reward both of our hard work with an Adventures by Disney trip. We finally agreed on England and France because my father wanted to see as many famous monuments as possible, he said that it would probably be his only trip he would take internationally. Our adventure was amazing and we can do nothing but rave (even 2 yrs later) to everyone about taking an Adventures by Disney trip at least once in their lives. Even though we went as adults we thoroughly enjoyed all the families on our trip and were never treated oddly. If anything the Disney staff was nothing short of Amazing! We went to all of these places that we have read about, seen on TV and in movies, and my father's face was unforgettable. Little did I know that my father had been diagnosed with cancer and hadn't told me because he didn't want to ruin our trip. Our trip help him decide that he did want to go through with his surgery and treatment and has been in remission for 2 years now! I am now married with 2 children and am anxiously waiting for our youngest to be old enough to travel on an Adventures by Disney trip. When we do get the opportunity to travel internationally again, there is no doubt in my mind that it will be with Disney.

I had never been outside of the US. This was our first Adventures by Disney. We didn't know what to expect. We of course expected to see a few of
the things that everyone sees on TV or in the movies. We never expected to have the adventure that began just before new years. In fact the pinnacle of our adventure can be summed up by this. For New Years Eve we were on a tour bus with all of our group, young and old with champagne and arrive at the Eiffel Tower minutes before midnight to have a toast with our new friends and the one that I love the most to ring in the new year and celebrate of journey together. We never could have planned such a joyous time together. It was breathtaking to say the least!

The thing that I remember most from this adventure is how our whole group became a family. There were families with small children, a solo vacationer,
and two sets of three adults. We even sent Christmas cards to each other. I was amazed at how everyone cared and looked out for each other after only a few days together. I now look forward to the people that we will meet on the adventures that we take in the future. We have also made great friends that we have happened to be on the same adventure again together and become even better friends. Another memory is helping each other be successful at climbing the Eiffel Tower. That was definitely a triumph for many in our group. Thanks for the memories and relationships that are made on Disney Adventure trips.

We brought our three kids on their first European vacation over winter break a couple of years ago. At their school, fifth graders study an important
world landmark each week. They do research and find a photo of the landmark. On this one Adventures by Disney vacation, the kids were able to get a picture of themselves in front of four of the 28 landmarks! Doing the research in person made their social studies projects so much more relevant. They were so proud to tell their classmates about the experience of visiting Buckingham Palace, Stonehenge, Tower of London and the Eiffel Tower. It completely enhanced their interest in learning about geography, language, architecture and art. It was our first ABD vacation we cannot wait for our next trip.

When I was 14, my family did Emerald Isle AND Cities of Knights and Lights. It was incredible. I loved the Louvre Disney style. My younger siblings went
on a child-appropriate Louvre scavenger hunt and the older kids and adults went and saw all the big stuff. It was so nice having multi-lingual tour guides. We still talk about our Europe trip ALL the time. The tour guides became our friends and we still quote funny things they said and watch our family videos from the trip when we get together. Now that I'm 24 and married, I want to save up to take our future kids on an Adventures by Disney tour. It was a top notch experience! Nothing my parents ever purchased us as kids will make up for that experience. It was an opportunity of a lifetime.

So many, we have done two trips - England and France and Arizona. I loved Paris. I loved the farewell Dinner in Paris at Laduree. I also loved exploring
the city with my family. In Arizona, also an excellent trip, we loved the river rafting, my 8 year old daughter barking orders for us to water fight the other boats. We also loved the hike to the Arches and seeing the Grand Canyon, Monument Valley

My husband and I decided to go on the England and France trip. The guides were great, and we met lots of new friends. We kept a smile on our faces
the whole trip. In Paris, one of the things we did was visit Disneyland. We are big Disney World goers, so being able to experience Disney magic across the globe was truly an unforgettable experience. In London, we rode the London eye, visited the Tower of London, as well as many other amazing places. My personal favorite was Buckingham Palace. I have always loved Princess Diana, so seeing the history was truly a magical moment I will never forget. We still meet up with the friends we met on the trip. I can't wait for our next Adventures by Disney trip.

Wanting to make a memory that would last forever was the reason that we chose Disney to be in charge of our adventure to London and Paris. It was
our 25th wedding anniversary and my daughter was getting ready to graduate from college. Those were excuse enough to splurge on an overseas trip. Having worked for The Disney Store for almost 14 years, I was well aware of the stature and conduct of Disney and their ability to take care of their guests. From the moment we landed at the airport, it was apparant that we were going to be lauded with lavish care and hospitality. The hotels were exemplary and our guides and other travelers became our traveling family. We weren't on a solo adventure - we were soaking up charm and history with new friends. Stepping to the curb, we were whisked away to every imaginable hot spot that a tourist begs to see. Given ample time to soak in each attraction made you feel as if you were personally their prime responsibility. A night time cruise down the Seine and seeing the Eiffel Tower lit in all its glory was stunning. Riding a bike around the grounds of Versailles was a choice I may not have made by myself but I sure enjoyed the journey. I also enjoyed having free time to make our way in the city to find our own streetside cafe and order food with no French language at my disposal. We went over five years ago and our trip is still fresh in our minds and hearts. We are plotting our next adventure to Italy as I type. Bon Jour.

Versailles is gorgeous. Everything about it is jaw-droppingly over-the-top. My kids were suitably impressed by the Hall of Mirrors and the Marble Court,
but what really made them shriek with glee was the hidden Mickey they discovered in the rose garden, almost as if it had been put there just for us...

For our first trip abroad as a couple after putting our two kids through college we knew we wanted to travel with Disney. We chose England and France
in 2007 and scheduled the trip during our anniversary week. We were so fortunate that our anniversary happened to be on the day we visited the Eiffel Tower! As we enjoyed lunch at the restaurant up in the tower with our wonderful ABD group we could hardly believe we were really there! We have since gone on four more ABD trips and have celebrated anniversaries in Xian, China visiting the terra cotta warriors; Disneyland, California on the Backstage Magic trip; at Machu Picchu during our Peru trip; and most recently in Tasmania while on our Australia trip. Very amazing memories and unforgettable anniversaries thanks to Adventures By Disney!
