Take a lovely walking tour of Passau, led by a local expert dressed in 18th-century period clothing. Experience many wonderful locations, including St Stephen's Cathedral, with its 17,000-pipe organ. Then, experience a marzipan-making activity that will satisfy your sweet tooth—with enough yummy delights made to take some home!

Explore Passau On Your Own

Take to the streets of one of this city renowned for its natural beauty and religious pilgrimage. Founded over 2,000 years ago, Passau is one of the oldest cities in Bavaria and is known as the “City of Three Rivers,” as it is located among rolling hills where the Inn, Ilz and Danube Rivers meet. Spend time exploring the city’s many sites, including the biggest organ in Europe and the world’s largest collection of glass. Or bask in breathtaking views from the Heavenly Ladder or from Veste Oberhaus, the fortress on the hill. You can also explore Artists Alley, Old Town and the many shops and galleries throughout the city.

Aldersbacher Brewery Tour and Monastery Visit

Experience the spirit of Lower Bavaria at Aldersbacher Brewery. A working brewery and museum, the Aldersbacher Brewery is also home to a Cistercian monastery, founded in 1776.
