Welcome to Venice, Italy, the beginning of what is sure to be a truly spectacular adventure along the sun-soaked shores of the Adriatic coastline. Plan your arrival at Marco Polo Airport (VCE) for no later than 1:00 PM.

Embarkation on the PONANT Le Bougainville

Upon your arrival at the dock, you will embark on the PONANT Le Bougainville ship, your luxury-filled home for the next 8 days and 7 nights. Settle into your cabin, then explore the ship and all the onboard amenities which includes a pool with panoramic views, state-of-the-art theater, several lounge areas to meet up with your fellow Adventurers, a wellness spa with a gym, a multi-sensorial underwater lounge and much more!

Krka National Park & Etnoland Dalmati Visit (FULL-DAY ACTIVITY)

Explore majestic waterfalls and inspiring landscapes on guided nature walks through the magnificent Krka National Park. You’ll hear stories of the first demonstration of electricity by Croatian innovator, Nikola Tesla, set sail on a private river cruise to Skradin, and visit a traditional Dalmatian home at Etnoland Dalmati.

During your excursion, you’ll savor a lunch of local flavors and put your best foot forward with a lesson in Croatian folk dance.

Morning Activities on the Ship or On Your Own Exploration in Primošten (HALF-DAY ACTIVITY)

Old Town Split & On Your Own Exploration

Join a local guide for an exploration of the Historical Complex of Split, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. During this fascinating tour, you’ll visit the Cathedral of St. Domnius, Jupiter’s Temple of Diocletian’s Palace and the cellars down below that were once the private apartments of Emperor Diocletian and are one of the world’s most well-preserved complexes of their kind. Following the tour, you’ll get to head into town to do some exploration on your own.

OPTION B:

RIB to Trogir with Stella Croatica Wine-Tasting

Board a high-speed RIB boat for an exhilarating ride to Trogir—a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most well-preserved medieval cities in Central Europe—where you’ll explore the Cathedral of St. Lawrence, the triple-nave basilica constructed in Romanesque-Gothic.

Next, you’ll board a motor coach for a journey into the countryside where you will be immersed in the local culture at Stella Croatica. Here you’ll taste regional wines, treats and olive oil as you are entertained by traditional music. You’ll also visit the storied medieval Klis Fortress for a stunning panoramic photo stop.

Kayak along the Old City Walls of Dubrovnik to the Lokrum Island nature preserve. Take a break for exploration, swimming and refreshments.

Cruise along the Dubrovnik City Walls and magnificent coastline in a private boat to the small village of Orašac. You’ll continue to Dubelj Farm to discover traditional olive oil production and savor the garden-to-table flavors of the family home.

Journey to Lipa Cave

Make your way up the scenic mountain roads that take you high above the Port of Kotor before heading down to discover the chilly, natural underground beauty of Lipa Cave—a 1.5 mile underground network of passages and halls. On the way, you’ll stop for a snack at a local restaurant that sits high up on the mountain roads with breathtaking views overlooking Boka Bay.

OPTION B:

Old Town Kotor & Our Lady of the Rocks

Wander the cobblestone streets of idyllic Old Town Kotor, then cruise the Bay of Kotor on a private boat to the magical created islet, Our Lady of the Rocks. Hear the stories of this 17th-century church built upon sunken rocks, old ships, and legends.

OPTION C:

Boka Bay Catamaran

Head out to the port city of Tivat to board a large, private catamaran. Then, set sail on Boka Bay—often called Europe’s southernmost fjord due to its protected waterways banked by steep coastline. Discover hidden submarine caves, sail past medieval villages, snap a picture at Our Lady of the Rocks and enjoy a picnic lunch aboard the catamaran.

You’ll also explore the Hora Family Estate’s vibrant and fragrant lavender farm and enjoy snacks and a wine tasting.

Start the day overlooking Hvar from the Fortica, poised high above the orange rooftops of the town below. Then, take a scenic drive to a family estate located in the heart of the UNESCO World Heritage Site—Stari Grad Plain. Cross the border into neighboring Slovenia on an epic journey to visit Predjama Castle, a Renaissance castle built into the mouth of a cave. Unearth the natural wonders of Postojna Cave, one of the largest cave systems in the country—home to some intriguing “dragons.” Following your visit to the cave, head into a nearby village for a delicious lunch.

Pula & Winery Visit

Visit one of the world’s best-preserved Roman amphitheaters in the seafront city of Pula before a tour and tasting at a local family-owned winery.

While adults enjoy wine tasting, Junior Adventurers will enjoy some juice as they play a game of bocce ball on the lawn.

OPTION B:

Old Town Rovinj with Batana Museum

Traverse the streets of Old Town Rovinj, the Venetian-styled fishing town. You’ll hear the legend of the town’s patron-saint, Euphemia, and explore the influence that the sea has had on the town during a visit to the Batana Museum. Then, step back in time at a local spacio for a regional tasting where you’ll hear tales about its storied past.
