All Guests on the Buenos Aires Escape must be booked on the Adventures by Disney Antarctica & Patagonia Expedition Cruise program.

The 1-night stay in Buenos Aires that is included with the Antarctica & Patagonia Expedition Cruise can be enhanced by adding on the extended 3 night/4 day Buenos Aires Escape package. Guests who add on the Buenos Aires Escape, will join the rest of the Antarctica & Patagonia Expedition Cruise Guests on the final morning of the pre-package for the flight to Ushuaia (Patagonia region). This morning is Day 2 of the Antarctica & Patagonia Expedition Cruise trip. There are no planned group activities on Day 1 of the Antarctica & Patagonia Expedition Cruise. The first day is designed as an arrival day to enjoy Buenos Aires at your leisure and, most importantly, to check-in with the Adventures by Disney Adventure Guides to prepare for the early morning departure on Day 2.

In Argentina, the monetary unit is the Argentine Peso. U.S. dollars and major credit cards are generally accepted by restaurants and stores in Argentina. Therefore, Guests will only need a small amount of local currency. Adventures by Disney recommends that Guests bring U.S. dollars in small denominations and exchange only the amount needed for miscellaneous expenses. Your Adventure Guide can help you with any local currency issues that may arise.

While we welcome children ages 10 and up for the Buenos Aires Escape, we recommend that children be at least 12 years old at the time of travel. Because each child is different, call a Vacationista at (800) 543-0865† to discuss whether this is the right trip for your kids.

Typically, breakfast is family style. Dinners and lunches usually include meat and pasta or rice entrées; vegetables and salad; and desserts and fruit. Some meals on the trip are served family style while others offer limited-choice menu. Child-friendly choices are available at all meals. Given the nature of group travel, we regret that á la carte menu choices may not always be available. Menu items are subject to change due to the availability and seasonality of foods.

In order to offer you and your family a bit of time to enjoy meals amongst yourselves, your itinerary includes “on your own” time. These open blocks have been planned in Buenos Aires where plenty of dining options are available. If you have any questions or concerns about dining at any time during your vacation, your Adventure Guides will be happy to assist you.

We reserve the right to cancel a trip at any time prior to its commencement for any reason, such as if there are too few Guests, or if the quality of the trip or the safety of the Guests would, in our opinion, be compromised, such as may result from unforeseen circumstances (acts of God) or other circumstances beyond our control. If we cancel your trip prior to its commencement because there are too few Guests: (i) we will attempt to re-book you on another departure of the same itinerary, subject to availability, and we will bear any reasonable airline re-booking charges; however, if we are unable to re-book you, we will issue a full refund of your package price and Plan (unless you have filed a claim); and (ii) if you booked airfare through us, we will issue a full refund of your airfare; and (iii) if you did not book airfare through us, we will reimburse you for your reasonable out-of-pocket (subject to proof) airline canellation charges or, in the case of bookings using frequent flier miles, a reasonable cancellation service fee, provided you have exercised best efforts to mitigate such charges/fees; and (iv) the aforesaid payments and/or re-booking by us shall constitute a full settlement. The immediately preceeding sentence does not apply to any cancellation (or deemed cancellation under the agreement between the group travel organizer and us) of a group travel reservation by the organizer of the group travel experience, for whatever reason, and in the event of such cancellation you will not be entitled to any refund or reimbursement from us of any amounts.
