No. A dedicated local, Disney-trained Private Adventure Guide will be assigned to you for the entirety of your trip or a team of local Private Adventure Guides will be assigned to you, with one guide per destination city.

You may fly into Cairo International Airport (CAI) at any time on Day 1 of your adventure. Regardless of your flight's arrival time you will be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel.

On the final day of the adventure, you will be transferred from your hotel to Cairo International Airport (CAI) for your return home. Flights may be booked for any time throughout the day, however, most flights depart in the early morning. - Are transfers included if I arrive or depart from different locations or at different times from the itinerary?

Yes, you may stay in Egypt before your itinerary begins or after it concludes. End of content - How will our group travel between destinations?

Travel from your hotels to nearby sites will be by private vehicle. There are also 4 commercially scheduled flights throughout the adventure. On Day 4, you will fly from Cairo to Aswan, Aswan to Abu Simbel and then from Abu Simbel back to Aswan. On Day 7, you will fly from Luxor to Cairo airport. Then, you will fly from Cairo to Sharm el Sheik. On Day 9, you will fly from Sharm El Sheikh to Cairo. All flights are approximately 50 minutes to one hour in duration.

Egypt is located in a dry desert region which means that summers are hot and winters are moderate, with nearly 10 hours of sun each day. Visit weather.com prior to your departure for the most up-to-date weather in the locations you will be visiting.

This is an active trip with a lot of walking and some degree of physical activity. There may be up to 3 hours of casual walking during a full day of activity in Cairo, Giza, Aswan, Abu Simbel and Luxor. Touring the ancient monuments and temples on foot can be challenging, especially in the months of May through September due to the summer heat. Within the ancient ruins, walking on broken rock surfaces, cobblestones and uneven pavement is common. Steps are also common within the historic sites as well as on board the Nile cruise ship and within some airports. Ramps and elevators are not typically available. You can always choose to opt in or out of an activity as you wish. While nearly all of the trip’s featured activities are only mildly strenuous if enjoyed separately, the full range of activities requires a moderate amount of stamina in order to get the most of your vacation.

Typically, breakfast is served each morning in family style and offers a variety of dishes. Dinners and lunches usually include fish, meat and pasta or rice entrées; vegetables and salad; and desserts and fruit. Some included meals on this trip are served family style while others offer a limited-choice menu. Given the nature of group travel, we regret that á la carte menu choices may not always be available. Child-friendly choices are available at all meals. Menu items are subject to change due to the availability and seasonality of foods. In order to allow you and your family time to enjoy meals by yourselves, there are a few meals that are not included in the itinerary. These meals have been planned in locations where you have many dining options available. If you have any questions or concerns about dining at any time during your vacation, your Egyptologist will be happy to assist you.

We will make every reasonable effort to operate vacations as advertised; however, we reserve the right to curtail or modify the itinerary, or to substitute activities, hotels, meals or transportation as we deem necessary. Please also note that during certain holidays and peak periods, some activities may be disrupted or unavailable. None of these modifications or changes shall affect the land package price. We reserve the right to cancel a trip at any time prior to its commencement for any reason, or if the quality of the trip or the safety of the Guests would, in our opinion, be compromised, such as may result from unforeseen circumstances (acts of God) or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control. If we cancel your trip prior to its commencement: (i) we will attempt to rebook you on another departure of the same itinerary, subject to availability, and we will bear any reasonable airline rebooking charges; however, if we are unable to rebook you, we will issue a full refund of your land package price and plan (unless you have filed a claim); and (ii) if you booked airfare through us, we will issue a full refund of your airfare; and (iii) if you did not book airfare through us, we will reimburse you for your reasonable out-of-pocket (subject to proof) airline cancellation charges or, in the case of bookings using frequent flier miles, a reasonable cancellation service fee, provided you have exercised best efforts to mitigate such charges/fees; and (iv) the aforesaid payments and/or rebooking by us shall constitute a full settlement. - Is travel insurance available?
